Who can participate in the competition?This competition is open to all graduate students at McMaster University, regardless of their program of study. The key requirement is an interest in consulting, strategy, and problem-solving. If you’re passionate about real-world business challenges and eager to develop innovative solutions, you’re encouraged to participate!

Do I need a team to participate?You can register in one of two ways: As a team – Form a team of 2 to 4 members before registration. As an individual – Register alone, and we’ll match you with other participants to form a team.

What is the competition format?Teams will receive the case problem statement and will have time to develop a referral program strategy for Tracument. Each team will prepare a PowerPoint presentation outlining their recommendations and implementation plan Teams will present their solutions in front of a panel of judges from Tracument and industry professionals.

Will there be a Q&A session with Tracument before the competition?Yes! There will be a live Q&A session with Tracument executives where participants can ask questions about the case and clarify any uncertainties. Details will be sent to registered participants.

How long should the final presentation be?Each team will have maximum 10 minutes to present their strategy, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session with the judges.

Will food be provided at the event?Yes! Snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the event.

Is there a shuttle service for participants?A bus shuttle will be available for students traveling from McMaster’s main campus to the Ron Joyce Center in Burlington. Click to the following link for details: CLICK HERE
